Zac is an R&D Senior Scientist for the Renew Life brand.

He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis; and was awarded a prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Foundation postdoctoral fellowship

He has extensive expertise in Bi­fidobacterial genetics and physiology, as well as experience measuring bacterial abundances using state-of-the-art DNA sequencing techniques. He currently leads the development of probiotic and prebiotic products, and is the point person for Renew Life’s clinical trials program. He also provides subject matter expertise on the human microbiome.

At Renew Life, Ariana Tiwari is responsible for developing and launching science-backed probiotic products, crafting innovative marketing campaigns highlighting women’s digestive issues, and building business cases for innovation focused on the female microbiome. Before joining Renew Life’s brand marketing team, she worked on infrastructure projects at the International Finance Corporation, a part of the World Bank Group, and on healthcare deals in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse.

At Renew Life, Ariana Tiwari is responsible for developing and launching science-backed probiotic products, crafting innovative marketing campaigns highlighting women’s digestive issues, and building business cases for innovation focused on the female microbiome. Before joining Renew Life’s brand marketing team, she worked on infrastructure projects at the International Finance Corporation, a part of the World Bank Group, and on healthcare deals in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse. In her spare time, she teaches yoga in San Francisco; launched the DC chapter of Off Their Plate, a non-profit that re-employs restaurant workers in order to feed healthcare professionals on the frontlines of fighting COVID-19; and aspires to taste every wine in Napa Valley. Ariana holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
